Re: HID brands (Merzbow)

I have a pair of HIDs I took out of my vibe (the previous owner had installed them). I can't recall the color, but at least white (~6000K) if not hotter. The reason I took them out was because they only provided low beams and I live in a relatively dark area with lots of wild-life, so high beams are...

Garbage Can Smoker Project

I think this thread is about as "Off Topic" as you can get . . . A couple of years ago, a couple of grad school friends and I made a smoker out of a metal garbage can (the device you smoke meat with, not the coworker who hangs out on the loading dock, in case you are confused). The basic i...

Mine has tinted tails (Shadow). You can see a picture or two from the previous owner here (down near the bottom): http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2357553 I've toyed with the idea of scraping off the tint (it's just a sticker tint, not painted). My awd '04 vibe did great in the snow with studded snow tires (in VT & NH) and it was a pretty rough winter in terms of driving conditions. One of my coworkers has a fwd vibe and said it was a little shifty in the snow and wouldn't put anything less than studded snow tires on it in the winter.
