What it seems to me is that the points are for new vehicles. But it probably depends on the dealer if they can get your points to apply to an accessorie.

I am looking to buy a ski rack. I have about $500 from my GM card so i would like to get a ski rack from GM. The site does not have very good pictures of it. I have read on this site that the ski rack is odd looking and i would like to see some pictures of it and others that people have installed.
