mine did that once as well. I ended up finding the problem was rusted edges of the rear brake drum would fall into the drum.... so as the wheels spin, the chips clang around in the brake drums. 'cleaning' the brakes probably solved the issue.

so here is the update. Got the new coil and installed no problem ($84+tax)... purrs like a kitten... then on the way back, the engine just killed!With the new coil in the engine it kills at 3000rpm everytime, so I have to make sure I shift before 3000rpm. I am also getting misfires on coils 1,2,3 and random misfire code. So will I get a P2300 code if I switch the 'bad' # 1 with #2?
