sunshade

I was wondering what other vibe owners were doing about getting sunshades to fit vibe windshields. I tried various universal shades, but none fit quite right. Any suggestions??Thanks,Nick

Re: craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaappppppp!!!!!!!!!(first scratch) (satur9)

Clear coat only-3M rubbing compoundDeep scratch in paint-5 bucks for GM touchup paint or 300 bucks for an auto body to repaint the section. The touchup paint did a good enough job for me.

Re: craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaappppppp!!!!!!!!!(first scratch) (satur9)

First of all, how deep is the scratch?? I have had scratches in the clear coat that can be taken out with a 3M product rubbing compound. If the scratch is deeper, you can either spend about 300 bucks for a body shop to repaint the section or spend 5 bucks for the GM touchup paint. I ordered the paint...

Re: Badge overlays? (DopeVibeGT)

I ordered the dark blue pontiac logo overlays for the front and rear emblems as well as the wheel emblems. However, I plan on leaving the Vibe logo untouched. It's already a silver color, so I like the contrast. I have not put them on yet. The shipping was under a week and I was very very satisified...

Re: Scratch removal products (Admin II)

I just applied a coat of wax to my car. Will it be okay to use this stuff to try and get the swirl marks out, or should I wait a while?

Rubbing Compound

Can anyone recommend a good/reliable rubbing compound that I can use on my Neptune Vibe? I have a few marks in the clearcoat. Thanks.

Re: Wheel locks for Vibe (slbpsi63)

I live in Town N Country area. Unfortunately, I have seen two cars stripped during the nighttime hours since I've been here. Not cool, I know. However, I ordered locks from summit racing the other day, so I'll put those puppies on ASAP.

Re: cargo net package (robodog61)

Honestly, I must have gotten lucky. I just checked on the GM site today and the price is 50 bucks. When I first noticed them, it was 35 and the dealer quoted me that price. Anyways, it's worth the money!!!

cargo net package

I just received my cargo net package from the dealer. So far, I've purchased the front end cover and the net package. Both orders took less than a week.I would definitely recommend both to vibe owners. The cover was priced at 86 dollars and the net package was only 35. The dealer price on the net pa...

Re: Accident in the Vibe!! (KimEBud8)

Hey Kim, sorry to hear about the accident. Coincidentally, I was also hit on the right front panel about a week after I bought my Neptune Vibe. Due to the lack of availability on parts and the insurance, it took three weeks before I got my baby back. However, all is good in the world now. Good luck....

Re: Dealer decal (NovaResource)

Okay, I'm another decal novice. What do you use to start the peeling process. Obviously nothing too sharp, etc. Any suggestions? Also, I've had my vibe for over a month now, is it too late to peel off?

Re: Tinny rattle under right side of Vibe (MFFenton)

Okay, thank you all for your input. I brought it back to the dealer today and it appears that they fixed the problem. They tightened a loose dust shield. So, I've had the car for about five hours now and have not heard the noise yet. Knock on wood!!!!Thanks again, nicksta!

Wheel locks for Vibe

I went to my dealer yesterday to purchase wheel locks for my Neptune Vibe. I do live in an area where rims are taken on a pretty regular basis. The dealer said that they aren't available. Any info. on this matter would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Re: Rear Hatch hard to close (Flip-Side)

I am so glad to hear I'm not the only one with this problem. The night I bought my car, I spent over a half hour trying to figure out why my open door light wouldn't go out. Then I spent another ten minutes trying to close the hatch. I'm sorry, but I don't enjoy the idea of slamming a heavy piece of...

Tinny rattle under right side of Vibe

I bought my Vibe a month ago and, when I don't have the radio on, can occasionally hear a tinny rattle under the right side of the vehicle. It is very intermittent. However, when I do hear it, I am either accelerating or driving over a rough surface. I have had the car to the dealership twice about ...
