First of all, how deep is the scratch?? I have had scratches in the clear coat that can be taken out with a 3M product rubbing compound. If the scratch is deeper, you can either spend about 300 bucks for a body shop to repaint the section or spend 5 bucks for the GM touchup paint. I ordered the paint for a scratch on my door. You can still see the scratch, but only at certain angles. The paint blended really well. Take care of it quick!!!!

Clear coat only-3M rubbing compoundDeep scratch in paint-5 bucks for GM touchup paint or 300 bucks for an auto body to repaint the section. The touchup paint did a good enough job for me.

Well I just received some mystery damage on my rear bumper...it appears somebody did not know how to back out of a parking space and took the nice salsa paint off of the bumper...about 10 inches by 10 inches!!!I wonder if I turn it into insurance I would get enough to buy the sport package rear bumper...hmmmmm!!!

Woah! I think you may have an enemy or two. Keying a car is the lowest, most cowardly act of all. Having said that, some people deserve it. I've never done it - I have too much r.e.s.p.e.c.t for cars - but geesh LocDog, what could you possibly have done to someone to enrage them to do such a thing?

Damn. Someone doesnt like you, man. I live in the city too, and my main problem is parking safely. Theres a few people on the block that have POS, and dont care of they smack into your ride. So, I try to get this one spot by a driveway or the one behind it, that way no one will try to pull into a space in front. Cities suck for new vehicles.

i went out and bought primer, touch up paint, rubbing compound and color wax. im following directions, it still looks like crap. most of it is on the rear bumper part of the flare..so i will add myself to the list of waiting for body kit to cover scractches .i wish i knew if the kit covered the whole bumper . its to hard to tell in the pics. if my car got keyed, id key thier FACE!!! messing with someone car is inexcusable. none shall escape judgement of the 7th level of YAR!! muwhahahahahaha!!!

If he had it done at the dealer, they fade it in perfect. Never know anything was there.

The city does suck, almost makes me wish i bought a cheaper car. People use hittin the back of ur car and reference to see how close they are.I got my car done at this place in NYC my dad knows, they charged like 600 to fix my door and paint the 3 panels. They matched the paint perfectly, the only thing is that the quality was bad. I guess the environment wasnt clean, there are little bubbles from lint or something.
