Quick note...If you do mostly highway cruising the 2.4L will get the same mileage if not better. It has better gearing and power ratings. I am seeing 25mpg in mine right now with only 200 miles on it. I'll give a more detailed driving experience when I hit 500 miles in it.
Why did it take so long for the settlement? Has your car been fixed already?I just got my check for my Vibe today also. Looks like everyone is getting paid out!
Tisk Tisk, the hole in the back organizer is for Gallons of milk! I used it the other day. They fit perfectly in the hole and don't budge an inch.Good find though. Thanks for the read.
Turn by Turn does not work on the 09' Vibe. (Salesman driving an 09' Vibe GT Demo)Edit: I should ad that it is the newest version of Onstar however the ABS components used in the Turn by Turn system are not compatible with the Vibe's system. Problem probably is the system is Toyota sourced.
The Vibe's value being less by 10% is most likely due to the car having rebates when new. As far as I know they are always bigger than the Matrix rebates. So essentially, a person should be able to buy a new Vibe for less than a new Martix. Therefore, that price difference will be with that car when...
Yes, it had two compartments. One is about as deep as the previous generation and the top one is good for cell phones, papers, pens, etc. Anything flat can fit in it. The glove box also has two shelves and it is deeper than the previous gen too.

Anyone look at the porjected fuel economy of the 09' GT on the window sticker? The 2.4L is rated to get a better average MPG than the 1.8L in the base 08' generation. (Auto vs. Auto)
Quote, originally posted by ToolGuy »If someone takes my Vibe, they can have it, there is no way I want it back. Why do people think the 09'GT is slower than the previous generation GT's? I am seeing times in the mid 16 second 1/4 mile range for the older generation. I am hearing from my GM rep that with the added displacement and TQ the car will be in the mid to low 16's with the AUTO. If I end up buying a GT...

We have two red GT's and an AWD. IMO, driving an 08', the 2009 is a waaay better car for the money. $21,500 gets a fully load GT which is only $500 more than a fully load base 08'.
Here ya go. Taken from my mother in laws drive way while we were loading it up. Drove it for three days until they crashed it. Nobody was caught. Craziest part of the story is that I found them on the second day driving around in my car. Needless to say seems like 16yr old kids are packing around he...

My GM rep says GM is working on something to finish off the Vibe lineup, but they are skeptical about if anyone will buy it. You might have to wait until Autoshow season 2009 to find out i...

We have 1 on our lot. It is a loaded GT. Red. Pretty much the brochure car. I'll take some pictures and post them.I also would like to note that a fully loaded 09' GT can be had for close to the same price I bought my fully load 08' Base which sucks.
