That looks really sweet! Do you still have a spare tire?

Re: (mistertwo)

That's actually what I was thinking about this morning. The problem is, with my stock HU, options are pretty limited unless I plan to gut it, and start with a different one.

Re: (audiovibe)

It wasn't your system, but it looked very similar. Maybe the other person got the idea from you. Your system looks great! Do you still have a spare tire? I need to sit down and read the entire post instead of just looking at pics, but I don't have time to right now.I really like the LCD display scre...

Re: Cargo Area Bottom Panel - what's it called? (ajflan)

I used to live up there. Nice place, except that winter is like, 8 months long! Anyway, your vibe looks great. I have a neptune blue, completely stock 2003. I've got a ton of plans, but nothing done yet. I'll have to start slow so the wife doesn't nix my plans.

Re: Cargo Area Bottom Panel - what's it called? (ajflan)

Thanks! Man, that's a sweet lookin' vibe in your signature. What % is your tint? My is stock, so I want to get the windows tinted, but I live in NC, and the laws here suck, so you can only get really lightly tinted film.

Beat to death topic - subwoofer location???

Okay, I know this topic seems to have been beaten to death, but I'd like to know how people have added subwoofers to their systems - with pics if possible. I don't want a huge honkin' speaker box in the back of my car. My wife wouldn't have it. I've been considering going around to local salvage yar...

Cargo Area Bottom Panel - what's it called?

Does anyone know what the bottom panel in the cargo area is called? It has the two rails that allow you to tie things down with the kit the car came with? I have seen plenty of posts that talk about the flexible cover that covers the entire area, but I want to know what the name of the hinged, spare...

Thanks guys! That's an awesome thread. I really like the Cosmo Racing products, not to mention the eye candy on their website! Scott

Best Performance/Price Boost Question

Excuse me if this has been asked before, but I'm new to the forum.I have a 2003 base vibe with no mods. I know, I'm slack. Anyway, I want to know what would give me the best performance increase for my dollar. I've seen posts about CAI systems by K&N, Injen, etc., but haven't seen any real perfo...

Re: (tnpartsguy)

I have this same problem with my '03. I discovered that the console itself is warped, causing the latch not to catch well. Hit a bump, and it falls open. I haven't read the other threads yet, but it's likely that someone else has seen this. In fact, the silver trim piece on mine pops up because of t...

Re: Passenger compartment air filter maintenance (chemikalguy)

So, I pulled the filter out before I left work and drove home. I did notice a difference in the performance of the A/C. I didn't have to run it full blast all the way home like I usually do, and it was even 101F yesterday. Thanks!

Re: Passenger compartment air filter maintenance (MadBill)

I don't feel quite so bad, then. I'm going to pull it out before I drive home to see if it makes a difference in my A/C performance.

Re: Passenger compartment air filter maintenance (Mrizzle05)

I just found Gen Vibe, and I must say I'm glad I did. I was scanning the threads and saw this one. I'm particularly angry at this point. When I bought my vibe in Oct of 2002 (it's a 2003), I asked about these cabin air filters, and was told by the dealer that mine was a mid-year alteration, and that...
