Hi to all...love this site - love my Vibe (only 62k on it -- going for 200k).During the first snow here in the Northeast, I slid a bit (Blizzaks not yet installed!) - and had some minor front upper bumper damage. The bumper is slightly 'ripped' - and according to the body shop, needs to be replaced....

Re: (guitarspaz)

Excellent topic. I keep track of every fill - up. My 07 Base - Auto - on the factory 16' wheels / tires, was giving me 30 - 31 mpg, with 70/30 highway / city split.I put on new 17' Goodyear F1 tires - 225/50's - and my mileage dropped by about 3 MPG. Handling is significantly better -- but the MPG r...

CAI experience - What happens to MPG?

I'm considering the installation of a CAI on my base auto 2007 Vibe. While I know I should get a few more HP (7), I'm wondering what everyone's experience has been with their average miles per gallon.Much thanks....Barry

Re: What Other Cars (VivaVibe)

Was going to buy a GM car -- and wanted to use my GM 'points' (hence no Saturn). Thought about the Torrent, but wasn't thrilled with the V6. Considered leasing the Acadia, but it was simply too big (although very nice). I've always liked the Vibe -- fabulous utility, good economy. excellent warranty...

Re: Just bought a Vibe....now come the mods.... (prathman)

Thanks - quick question: What does the Radio Shack adapter connect to? It looks easy to remove the center console -- but I'm wondering what I'll connect the adapter to.Thanks.PS - Has anyone changed the 'base' Vibe steering wheel with a leather-wrapped wheel from either a Vibe GT or Matrix?

Just bought a Vibe....now come the mods....

So - after much research, I've purchased a (new) 2007 Abyss Vibe. Only options are the power group, and A/T. As with many people, I got an excellent deal, between my GM card, the GM rebate, and the GM conquest rebate. Mods coming:1) Matrix armrest (I wonder why the Vibe is so much shorter).2) Leathe...
