Funny thing is mine came with it. I rarely use it even on long trips. I guess Florida roads are just too congested for it to be safe.

Snow in Palm Coast? (removed)? Surely you were out of town for the holidays in that pic. I live in the official snow capitol of Florida but we never see that much and we are 300 miles north of you.

Living on a farm, I have had squirrel rat and mouse damage to all my vehicles. The worst was a squirrel chewing all the vacuum lines in my F-150. I also had birds nest in my grille. I have 3 vehicles and whatever gets parked in the barn for more than 3 days gets moved into by some varmints.

I do not know what everyone else is referring to but I am talking about PNRDL12. I did not think it was supposed to be lit until I heard a click the other night and it lit up for the balance of my trip. Never seen light there before or since.

Optima Red will be the last battery you buy. I have one 12 years old that starts my tractor every time. BTW I only use it once a year. It is the best built battery in the world.

Re: Short Ram check engine light (Whelan)

OT but? Southern engineering? (removed) is that? Is OK considered South? Is that a slur on the south? Not trying to pick a fight here but FL GA AL AR TN KY NC SC MS LA TX are all that qualify for south in my book. Either you consider OK to fit in with the real south (which is alright) or you just sl...

I have only been thru 3 tanks in my 03 Base Vibe with 45k miles on it. It is a loaded with everything but Nav and I got 37 on my first tank 60mph highway. I got 32 on my second 2 tanks on I-10 and I-75 at 85+mph. I used no AC or heat yet as it is 70 degrees here in Fl. I assume this car works best o...

Ever heard of static electricity? Try wearing fleece on a zero humidty day. You will pop the crap out of yourself all day. When I used to install car audio people accused me of causing it all the time.

None of my biz software will work with Vista, nor will it ever. There is no Active Synch support with Vista. I have 12 or so remote editor suites I use to make a living so I will stick with XPpro forever. Oh yeah my Quickbooks Pro will not work either. Dud if you ask me.

Bad amp?? It is under the passenger seat. You can bypass it to check. I think Metra has a bypass kit that requires not cutting or splicing.

Uh...maybe the extra wire is for the turn signal.I assume your vibe does not have stock turn signals in the mirrors cause mine sure doesn't.So...there is no wire in the door for the fourth input. The wires on the new ones would be ground, control, motor, motor. You will need a DVOM to decipher the o...

Well, I bought a 93 F-150 new and hated the 97 that came out to replace that body style. I had an 87 CRX and loved what they did to it the next year. So...I have an open mind there. I also like the Matrix better than the Vibe when they first came out. Now I really have had a change of heart. The onl...
