I tried replacing the plugs, but the code came back. I tried cleaning the MAF, code re-appeared. A friend of mine looked over my vibe and said that he heard a clicking noise coming from the MAF?? (aside from any standard engine noises) Anyone else experience this? I'm nearly out of time as my inspec...

All was good!About a week ago, @ ~ 105K miles, CEL re-appeared. Checked code, same one!!It couldn't b the sensors or the cat again after only ~ 30k miles, co...

My co-worker,who went out got a matrix a week b4 i got the vibe, had lojack installed. He tells me that he paid for the systems up front, which inlcuded an alarm as well, with no monthly cost. In his version, he has to call the police and activate. He also said that he heard of the other system, but ...

Re: waxing my paint off ? (wildvibe)

The paint is definitely cheap. During my last waxing, I noticed 4 chips down to the primer. I'm unsure if I should have the dealer repair it, try to repair it myself, or just take it to a paint shop......

Re: Rubber Floor Mats (Devlop)

I bought a set of heavy duty rubber mats from Costco for 35.00 USD. They r very rugged and have deep treads. I've had three sets, and they have been awesome. My only complaint is since they r generic, they don't fit the front area *exactly*.

RDS is pretty popular in Europe. I've rented cars in several European countires and the majorrity of the stations were broadcasting the extra info. I haven't seen much of it here in the NYC metro area, save for the NY Times classical music station.. Because of that, the pressing the traffic button d...

The foglight's R 9006, and they twist out pretty easily (already replaced them).Regarding the 'other' drivers IMHO, it's not the 'incosiderate' ones that r dangerous, buth the un-observant ones. It's been my experience driving in NYC and northern NJ that, for the most part, u can spot and deal with ...

Yeah,i read about that time on the board. Another thing I did notice is that in the other GM's, the sensor was in the middle, whereas on the vibe, i believe it's on the driver side. I say this b/c the dealer put my inspection sticker out in the bottom middle of the windsheild, where all (most now) c...
