Re: Insurance rates?

I'm insured through Allstate. I'm not sure of all the specifics but I know I have a $500 deductible. I'm 21 and my premium was about $180 a month for full coverage but then it jumped to around $250 when the policy renewed. The explanation? "Oh, we had the Vibe classified as one type of vehicle ...

Re: General Motors wins seven design awards at Detroit auto show (Stang2Vibe)

I thought the Aztek was very ugly when I saw it at first and it still is a bit ugly to me... though it has grown on me a little. So, I have to disagree with you about the front end of the Aztek. I think the front end is very fierce. It's the rear end they need to redesign!

Re: Vibe spotted on XM trivia! (ragingfish)

I bought it and had it installed at Circuit City. The controll unit I would say is a little smaller than the size of a Milky Way bar. So we're probably talking about the same one.I don't find it hard to look at the display or hit the buttons to change the stations because I'm a tall guy and naturall...

Re: Vibe spotted on XM trivia! (ragingfish)

I bought a Pioneer unit. The box was installed underneath the passanger seat and they placed the control unit underneath the gear shift on the raised carpeted area. The installer also made a little plastic part so the control/display unit would be facing up at an angle. I can also remove it from the...

Vibe spotted on XM trivia!

Ok, so it's not really a big deal, but if you follow the link below and play XM Radio's trivia game, you'll notice that the car you're driving around in is a Vibe. http://www.xmradio.com/trivia/triviastart.html

Re: In-Dash Cigarette Lighter (Space_Cowboy)

I've had this problem before. I go to pull the lighter out and the inside pulls out halfway. I've messed with it a little bit so now the cylinder doesn't come out all the time.

Re: Didnt even make a payment yet, and...(Rant) (DopeVibeGT)

I hate that when people are parallel parking! When I lived in Denver, I lived across the street from several restaurants. Needless to say the patrons of the restaurants would park on my street. They had no respect for the other cars. I watched people try to parallel park and hit the bumpers of the c...

Re: Rattles! (Salsa!)

Thank you all for your quick help! Now I think what I must do is find a dealer to take it to and pick a date I can actually take it in.My dad bought a Chevy Avalanche not too long ago and he said the dealership was pretty nice, so I think I may ask him.

Rattles!

For the most part, I haven't experienced too many problems with my Vibe. I'm going to take it in to have the CD player replaced because of the noise it makes while playing a CD.However, I was wondering if my warrenty would also cover the fixing of rattles. I notice whenever I go over any big bumps o...

Re: Console noise with braking? (MA-VIBE-FAN)

Well I recently took my Vibe to a Circuit City and had an FM Modulation XM Radio unit installed. They obviously had to take the stereo out to do some work in the back and since then, it hasn't been making that noise (even with a CD in it). I had made an appointment with my dealership to check it out...

Re: Console noise with braking? (ACT76)

No, there's not. Actually, the only storage compartment I keep things is in the glove box and the console between the two front seats. The noise sounds like it's coming directly from the center of the console, in the stereo/heat control/gear shift area.

Console noise with braking?

I've recently experienced a problem with my Vibe. It's been making a noise for the past two months or so, but I haven't had the time to take it in the shop yet.Anyway, whenever I apply the break, there is a clicking sound that appears to be coming from the console area. The harder I apply the breaks...
