Re: (flywithabowtie)

Fly,Pics of set-up? also the hoses running to and from the evap module. i think that is why i keep throwing the 'P0441 :Evaporative emission control system incorrect purge flow'or could I have damaged the module by having incorrect flow when i first installed it?

Re: CAI in AWD, Who's done it, who's had problems? (jasonisnuts)

I have done it (2006 AWD). Ran into a CEL (still ongoing) P0440/P0441. Used the K&N Typhoon system. seems the injen or the cosmo are the better options for SR or CAI's (from what i have read) for the AWD. Blue Crush, could you help me out in diagnosing this problem? multiple pics of your setup (...

Re: (mr_miyagi)

Hey guys, sorry to bring this back up again, but it's been 2 weeks with the K&N and now there is an engine code light. I took off the (-ve) battery terminal for 15-30 min, Cleaned the Air sensor, and Re-tightened everything. The light came back on after about 4 days.Any suggestions on trouble sh...

Re: (Sunny)

Update. No codes/lights flashed up on the dash after a 5-10min run, and a 30min idle. My 'fix' basically mimicked the stock set up (i'll try to get pics up soon).V- I was thinking your way, pluging up the 3/4 tube, along with the little thing under the engine cover that went to the vacuum switch, bu...

Re: (CAN-AWD-VIBE)

Sunny, no love. no hints or tips to figure things out. CAN-AWD, thanx man. That pick helped out a bit, but still wondering what to do with the upper manifold tube. I don't recall that connector in the engine bay.I have managed to fix it up via Home Depot and CDN tire parts. less than 10$ of parts an...

Re: (CAN-AWD-VIBE)

I did use the k&N instructions. but nothing. there is a large rubber hose that came from the original tube to the upper manifold. If this is suppose to be blocked by a plug i didn't get one in the kit. also the plug i did get in the kit is to small for what it is suppose to block off. I am going...

Re: '06 AWD intake options (BlueCrush)

So the GT, and Base models have different Throttle bodies? Also, I have read on here that some have to "modify" the intake kit, or a hose leading to the engine.

Re: (CAN-AWD-VIBE)

I would go Intake First. The stock air box is so restricting. Let the engine breath. But you will notice more gains if you do both at the same time.

Re: '06 AWD intake options (BlueCrush)

B-Crush, thanks for the info. Possible part #'s for the sites you have posted? Also, I heard/Read that the MAF sensor or something like that, was different bewteen the years of first production and presenst day. Also that it (the sensor) could not fit on the intake pipe, along with the intake not fi...

'06 AWD intake options

I was just wondering what my options where for SR and CAI setups. I know K&N is the most popular name out there, but with my painful research experience, i have come across 2 different part numbers for the K&N setup, and very little for other manufacturers. What are1) Different manufacturers ...
