I had that part catching and scraping the window tint off the driver's side window. The part finally broke in two and part of it fell into the door itself. Good news is, the window doesn't catch anymore. Bad news is I need to get the tint replaced and perhaps the part replaced too.

Well...I finally got around to getting the windows tinted....35% on the sides and 15% on the back with a 15% strip on the windshield. The difference is more than noticable...so I decided to take some new photos...peace.

Trimbrite Window Tint?

Anybody know about this stuff...any reviews or experience using? They sell a 25% tint film that has caught my eye....most places only have 50%, 35%, 20% and 5%....and in Texas, the legal limit is 25%I could get a 20%, but I'd hate to be pulled over. Sure...This shot was taken with the Nikon D1h and the 80-200mm f2.8 lens. ISO was 800 and shutter speed was about 1/125.The extra lights were two SB-800 flashes fired remotely with a set of Pocket Wizards remotes....one on the ground behind the car and one about 10-ft. above on a light stand.

The reason for the resale concern is the general fear of "American" cars vs. the "foreign" models after a few years of use.nevermind that the Vibe and Matrix are made in the same assembly plant in Tennessee (or Kentucky...I can't remember).
