hello all. Im Donavan and i just joined yesterday. I have had an 04 pontiac vibe base/auto since april 05. had 8k miles on it when i got it for 13k. now it has 66k miles on it and no problems so far other than an o2 sensor and the driver side window issue which apparently both are common around here. so far it has hankook k104 205/55/16 tires, EBC slotted rotors and green stuff pads, vibrant strut bar, ARE stage 2 Short Ram intake, ngk iridium plugs at 40k miles, full synthetic fluids, custom exhaust from the cat back with the resonators removed and a silverline canister. future plans include Unichip, underdrive pulleys, dc sports header, magnaflow cat, hks shattered earth grounding kit, 17" drag dr17 wheels with 225/45/17 falken 452's. eibach pro kit coils and tien struts, and a progress rear sway bar.
Welcome to the forum! Do you have any pictures? I'd love to have half the stuff you have on your mod list. If I where you I'd move the Progress rear sway bar up the list away (to next if possible). It makes such a positive difference when cornering.

yeah the underdrive pulleys and the progress rear sway bar are the next mods on my list because i can get them both so cheap and they shouldnt be too hard to install.
actually no i originally had a flowmaster 40 series on it before i cut the resonators off and put new piping on. when i done that it sounded horrible with the flowmaster, ie tinney, rattled and sounded like crap. now with the silverline it has a real deep tone down low and a nice bark above about 4k rpm. the only issue i have is occasionally when it is cold the exhuat gets a bit of a tinny echo not much but after about five minutes its fine. Ill Get PICS soon and hopefully a sound clip if i can find someway to capture it.
also until i found this place the other day i had such a hard time finding parts and getting advice on what and how to go about things this place is a godsend. thanks all

well i already had the new silverline canister laying around that i had traded a set of sub boxes out of my truck for. but the 2.25 inch piping from the cat back, cutting the resonators off and welding the canister on run me about 95 bucks. the flowmaster sounds great if you leave the stock resonator on, but when i cut those off man it sounded horrible.
and yes i still have the flowmaster even have the magnaflow tip i had welded on it still. the tip looks good the flowmaster looks ok it mainly just needs cleaning.
