Thanks guys - that seems to have been it. I replaced the new, groundless relay with one that looks just like the one that came with it (little black cube, 4 prongs, and a plastic mounting tab) and it works fine. The new, new one says 30A on it where the old one didn't, so maybe it'll be better.I tho...

Re: (joatmon)

That sounds like it makes sense... could I verify that by removing the original horn wire from the (S)witch terminal on the new relay and jumpering that terming to ground? At that point it should activate if this is the case, right? Also, any recommendations on where to get a 'good' relay? I just pic...

This new one doesn't - just a (H)orn, (B)attery, and (S)witch.I'm going to check later to see if the (S)witch wire continues to read 12v when I unplug it ...

Hey all - Trying to determine if this is normal, or a problem with MY Vibe... I'm thinking it probably a problem. Anyway, bought the car 3 months ago at 35k. Had the oil changed immediately and checked myself to verify that it was topped off.I'm now at the 3 month mark and have put 5k on the car. I'...

Really loud horns legal in PA?

Hey - Anyone know if train horns on cars are street legal in PA? - ie, will pass inspection and not get me a ticket on the road?I'm not talking about the Hella plastic compressor horns, but the ones that actually need a steel airtank and are 150+ DB.

Walmart has a CH compressor that has a reg price of $80 & is supposed to be on sale for $60. Thing is, it's actually on clearance and rings at the register as $22.18.It's only good for inflation & blowing (no impact wrenches or nailers), but for that price I figured it was worth mounting on ...
