Re: (vintagegz)

Decided not to get the Vibe. Kinda bummed but hopefully a better deal will come around. It sounded like the dealer was already cutting too much into their profit margin and were expecting that I would bring the car in for warranty work AFTER I bought new tires and found that the noise/vibration prob...

Re: (ou.grizzly)

Hey thanks for the tip. But those are all a little more than I want to afford right now. The one with leather is damn sweet though. And the tires on the one I'm looking at are almost to the wear bars on the rear and the fronts are not too much better. They could probably last about another 6,000 - 8,...

Can't believe I'm buying another one....maybe!

I purchased a brand new Vibe that was among the first Vibes produced back in July of 2002. Loved the utility and practicality of the vehicle but had some issues. The first was a water leak from the roof rack mount at the rear drivers side that ran down inside of the rear quarter panel and into the r...

Re: (scherry2)

Sounds like it could be a similar issue that I had. One day after washing my Vibe I was cleaning out the interior and opened up that small cubby/storage bin on the rear trim panel (near the liftgate), and noticed some water puddled inside. It tokk the dealer 2 days to finally figure out where the wa...

Re: (Puckman27)

Production of new models generally begin around Aug-Sept of the "current" model year. Therefore 2008 models will be built and availible late 2007. That's probably what MT was refering to when they said the new model would be in 2007. Everything I've ever heard about the next Vibe has calle...

Re: What 15" Rims for Snow Tires??? (Sunny)

"The only problem with Cavalier wheels is that the center bore is too large 57.1mm. The Vibe is 5x100, 38 offset, 54.1mm center bore." Yeah, it might be difficult to find hubcentric rings with that small of a diameter change. Then again, the Cavalier wheels are designed for "acorn&quo...

Re: 225/55/16? (djb383)

The stock (16" and 17") alum wheels are 6.5" wide not 7". It has always confused me why car makers design their cars with such skinny wheels. Dodge put 17x6 wheels on the Neon and cruiser. The Scion TC has 17x6's. You can only put a max tire of about 205 (maybe 215) and end up wi...

Re: (4X4CHICHI)

I really like the white mono also! And I don't think it's that hard to keep clean. It doesn't show light dust easily like black or neptune. And white is verey forgiving as far as showing swirls, small scratches, and touching up small paint chips. But the new 2006 front end ruined the looks IMO (altho...

Just joined!

Hello,Just joined the forum as a member tonight! I currently don't own a Vibe but I did own one a few years ago. My Vibe was purchased VERY early in their production. In fact my 2003 model was actually purchased in June of 2002 and must have been one of the "first few" off the assembly lin...
