Cassette deck problem

I tried searching already because I thought I saw it before on this site. I want to use a cassette adapter for my Ipod, but the tape deck continuously tries to auto reverse the adapter. I thought there was a way to set the tape deck for a "cleaning" mode. That way you can run a cleaner thr...

Don't need the snows. Never have a problem even with the crappy stock tires. And I have my ZR2 if we need to get through really deep stuff. I ordered the Traction T/A's. Hopefully I'll get them on this week. Thanks for everyone's input.Andy

Thanks for the replies. I don't think I'll buy any Goodyear product again. I've had a couple bad experiences with them. Anyway, Tirerack has three different Traction T/A's. H, T, and V. Is there any difference in the tire other than the speed rating? Thanks,Andy

BF Goodrich Traction T/A's

I was thinking about replacing the stock Goodyear's with these. My only concern is that they are directional. That means I couldn't cross the tires if I felt it was necessary. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks,Andy

Outdoor temp sensor?

Anyone know where the sensor, or sensors, are for the outdoor temperature? Just wondering how they do it. If it's mounted under the car it will pick up heat from the pavement. If it's between the body and the interior it would absorb heat from the body. Especially on my black car. Not very important...

I just bought an AWD Vibe. At lower speeds it seems to have enough power. At highway speeds is when I notice the lack of power. Other than that I love it. It has plenty of room inside, we just moved a dresser and a bunch of other stuff for a friend. I would definitely recommend the car.

Re: (northvibe)

How fast is it? I've run a best of 13.2 @ 110 mph in the 1/4. If you look at that trap speed it should be in the mid 12's but the rear end isn't very happy with the extra power. When it was stock except for the cold air intake and cat-back exhaust I ran 13.5 @ 102. Then I did some head work, a cam, ...
