Yeah, black is my favorite. I need to get some better pics of the Firebird. I've got some that I'll try to scan when I can get to my buddy's place. I have some pics of the engine out of the car when I did some work to it a couple years ago. Those pics at the track are about 5 years ago I guess. Maybe I'll take the cover off the car this week and snap a few more of it.
I used to have an01 NHRA Special edition Formula. I cried when I sold it. 12.9 with the paper tag in the back witndow. Just got to expensive to upkeep once the mods started to pile up.

How fast is it? I've run a best of 13.2 @ 110 mph in the 1/4. If you look at that trap speed it should be in the mid 12's but the rear end isn't very happy with the extra power. When it was stock except for the cold air intake and cat-back exhaust I ran 13.5 @ 102. Then I did some head work, a cam, and some suspension mods and dyno tuned it. 340 at the wheels is approximately 400-405 at the crank. So, more than 100 hp over stock should have dropped my times by more than .3, but the limited slip is not functioning as it should. One wheel spins while the other just sits there. I'm saving up for a Strange 12 bolt with either 3.73's or 4.10's. Shadow-those NHRA 'Birds were sweet! The LS1 cars were really quick without many mods. Too bad you don't still have it.Thanks for all the good comments!
