Re: Fusion no longer available (jake75)

Yes, $1500 on an '06. $500 basic rebate plus $1000 if you have a non GM car. The non-GM thing just got lowered to $500. Note that you can now get $3000 off of '05's. Pete

Re: Fusion no longer available (Kari)

Sorry about that, I didn't mean to offend any owners with blue, white, silver, gray or black cars. Everybody has their own preference, I just prefer something that stands out a little more. But you must admit that the color choices are limited, no yellow, green, electric blue, purple, gold or whatev...

Re: Fusion no longer available (BOZACK)

I did that, not a chance of finding one. Problem is I must have a base with a 5 sp, ABS and the power group. I would also like the sunroof, monsoon stereo, alloys, alarm and a few other options. Seems Pontiac only builds base 5sp cars totally stripped. How can you sell a car now with no ABS, no powe...

Fusion no longer available

I ordered an '06 Vibe in Fusion about 4 weeks ago. It's not in the '06 brochure or on the web site as an option, but it was still in the dealer materials for '06 and the dealer was still able to input the order in the computer. I just got a call today saying that Fusion was "Restricted" an...

Re: What oil filter do you use? (Man of Steel)

Despite all the bad rap about Fram filters on the net, I have used Frams for all my vehicles (including motorcycles) for as long as I can remember (20+ years). This is mainly due to thier low cost and wide availablity, not that I have some preference. I have personally never had a problem with the f...

Re: 05 Pontiac Vibe Upgrades: Newbie - SOS! Help! :0) (Vibe_D)

With regards the cladding, your only choice now is to paint it. The proper way is to take it all off, thoroughly clean and degrease, scuff and paint with base coat/clear coat as the factory would. Then bake it in the spray booth and reinstall. Figure about $1000 at a good body shop. You could save s...

Re: Helix Power Tower Plus (BlueCrush)

This is one of those arguments like politics and religion that you just can't win. If you are convinced that something is real, then it is very real to you. This is how companies that make such products as the "Power Tower" earn a living. As a professional engineer with 20 years in various ...

Re: Helix Power Tower Plus (BlueCrush)

I just ordered an 06 Vibe and joined the group. Wow, not much in the way of real performance parts availble. On the subject of the Power Tower, I hate to tell you but this is nothing but a gimick. Ranks right up there with the Tornado and the fuel magnatizers as a complete waste of money. Trust me t...
