I knew about the factory inflating the tires to like 45psi to set the bead. So, first thing when I got my car is to adjust the pressure to the recommended pressure of 32psi. I have the conti's and I agree they do suck in the snow. I only have 6,000 miles on my car and it is making me concerned. They...

I am in the same situation as you are with the super short commute to work (I have close to 3 miles) too. I have a 2005 with only 5700 miles on it and the first couple thousand miles it performed close to your numbers for gas milage. It is a lot better now, espically in the summer and on highway dri...

Might have been something like a rock or nail stuck in between the caliper and rotor. If it doesn't come back that is my best guess !

I just keep the receipts and record what I did in the maintance part of the owners manual. I write down what kind of oil, how much oil, and filter I used. Never had a problem in the past with dealers acusing me of never changing the oil, and on my Grand Prix has been in the dealer many times for eng...

I have a 2005 that did it the first couple months I owned it, I was also very frustrated and ready to rip into the service department. I decided to have a cool head and see if it does it with a pattern so I could help them diagnose it. Well, as soon as I started paying attention it has never did it ...

Good Luck ! That is why I do my own oil changes, I know I did it right and did it without spilling it all over the engine. In Buffalo, NY I cannot think of any good dealerships to work on your car .

I took mine in on Monday and they had to order them from the factory because they don't stock them cover and the rubber plugs ! The service manager was suprised that I had the notice from GM, he said he was not aware of this problem. He told me that he notified the PDI guys to not get rid of those p...

Hello all

After lurking for over a year I finally joined up, and wanted to say hello. I bought my 2005 base salsa vibe last year in October, and I must say I am very satisified with this car. I will recommend this car to anyone !!!

Re: Automatic Shift-lock cover missing? (vibb)

Hello, this is my first post. I own a 2005 salsa base that is 1 year old now. My question is I am taking it in for inspection and to put on the cover and plugs that they never put on. Can someone please give me the exact website that this TSB was found on ? The dealership is playing dumb, like I am ...
