Hey that's the exact same one i got. It got it on e-bay for 450 shipped, i think you still can find more of them on there. Oh yeah and to override that e-brake thing yeah you do ground the wire that's marked parking.*EDIT* That is the Jensen VM 9410 i model or something close to that

honestly i don't konw about it, but i know for a fact that the n1 does so i'm going to have to go ahead with that. Let me know if it is easy to get around the speed sensor. Right now i'm still in planing stages. I need to mod out my xbox first but that's going to be an adventure i don't need to go i...

i was going with the avic because it's stupid simple to mod out. all you have to do is ground the wire that is supposed to go to your e-brake that tells the system your car is in park. I'll wind up going with the avic n-1 because it has video inputs and i can run my xbox through to it.

Would this head unit fit? i've been getting conflicting stories about the head unit size in an 04 base vibe with standard radio. Looked here and still confused about it. Is it a double din or din and a half? I measured the space and it's smaller than my firend's car who really is a double din.I have...

thanks it's not something i'm digging though because the shift knob is in the way of the screen. I've pretty much decided on the relocation idea. I'll draw up a diagram in a few days.I'm not doing any modifications to the car yet, just exploring the ideas.

No, for the pc itself i plan on running a line from the battery itself with a fuse directly to the pc using a DC-DC power converter. The Drives I plan to run on a seperate line. That's why i'm looking into the feasability of using the AC outlet for the drives.

How much can Wires on AC outlet Sustain

I want to run an external Hard drive and an External CD rom drive using the exsisting wiring from the AC outlet. Can the wiring sustain this or would i have to change the wires?

screen is going to go where the stock headunit is. I am very adamant about making this look like it came from the factory. The only snag i have is where to put an aftermarket head unit. I saw MatrixPC's set up and i think ti's absolutley clean i just don't like where the head unit is. I've been play...

hmmm they were bigger when i posted them but yeah at the bottom it's a PC. Looking into cost/benefit of doing a pc with navagation versus getting a navagation system itself. Right now it looks like i'll come in very much under buying one versus building one.
