Several asked to see pics of the new HHR...so here it goes...I got the running boards too but they are not on in the photo's...its a dealer install to be done SOON.
Thanks to all of you who extended their kind comments and congrats..I appreciate it. And to those few of you who did not like the car or anything about it, that's okay with me too. I mean if we all liked the exact same thing then there would be only Vanilla, no chocolate. I for one find the current ...
I have a 2004 VIBE. I got it in August of 03. It has only been back to the dealer for one "problem" (the door ajar light would not go off, after 3 days in shop it turned out to be a capacitor in the dash). I love the VIBE. Mostly how solid it is, and the versatility. I get a new car every ...
Tried that...came out looking like crap...I can never get the touch up paint for chips to look good...I don't expect it to look perfect, but it almost shows worse than just leaving the chips alone.
When I first got my Vibe (one month old, in 2004) someone opened their door and chipped paint on drivers side front door body side mldg. Cost me $120.00 to replace!!! Now the paint on body side mld on right front door is chipped twice. It appears to me, pretty much a novice, that I could just buy th...
My 03 Vibe does the exact same thing. Sometimes I can recreate it other times I can not. A friend of mine had a similar problem on his 04 Jeep Wrangler. AFter 15..yes 15 trips to the dealer, it was a body mount that was not tight...where the body is bolted to the frame. I'm just letting mine go..rat...
I personally believe it will be 2008 also, as Toyota comes out with an all new Corolla for 2008 and that frame/engine combination will likely be used for the new Vibe and Matrix..but MT says 2007, we shall see. I'm selfishly hoping 2007 as I'd love to trade my 04 for an 07, but if a redesign is comi...
According to the motor trend website, the 2007 Vibe will be a redesign and will again be done in conjunction with Toyota. Here is the link.http://www.motortrend.com/futu....html
I am 60 years old and since I was 18 I have driven nothing but GM products. Some of those have been great (a Pontiac Grand Prix, a Chevy Camaro, a Vega GT), others have been a piece of crap (a Pontiac Grand Prix..different one...another Pontiac Grand Prix..a Monte Carlo and worst of all an Oldsmobil...
Okay everyone, here is the FINAL solution. I DID call the dealer early this morning and said basically I will be there at 12:30ish, I want either my car (with light fixed or not fixed, I don't care which), OR something to drive while you fix it. I also told them I was boggled by the fact they kept t...
It continues to grow worse...worse Service I have ever had in my over 40 years of car ownership.Recall, the car was in the dealer on Tuesday afternoon. They had to wait until Thurs morn to get the MFAM. I called Thursday afternoon for status...about 1:30pm. Was told by the service manager car was in...
This disaster continues. I took the car to the dealer late Tuesday so he could have it to work on first thing Wednesday. When I did, I mentioned the MFAM as a possible culprit. I mentioned I found info on it on the internet (here). When I called today to see if car was ready, they told me they have ...
Josh,Was your light on ALL the time? Mine was only on when the engine was off. It was dim..but noticed the past couple of days as I wait for my appt with the dealer (for his 3rd try at fixing) that it is getting brighter now. And I also had a day or two where it didn't light up..but then it came bac...
Well I take the car back on Wednesday (next week) so we will see. I will definitely be mentioning the MFAM. I do NOT have the optional alarm system. I also tried each door/tailgate/rear hatch glass, individually, one at a time, to ensure the dome lights responded correctly. They do. This makes me be...
I played with on/off dome/dimmer control...has absolutely no effect on the door ajar light. Light is still on (dim) when car is off..but works fine when car is running.
Thanks, appreciate any help you can give me...I would love nothing more than to take it to the dealer and say..."this is what it is", they have had 3 tries and the light is still on , and all they have done is replaced one door switch.
2004 Vibe, came with crossbars on rack (unlike new models which do not). I want to remove them for the winter...but can't figure how they come off. Advice?
2004 Vibe (love it). 7000 miles. Noticed that when car is off, parked, the door ajar light (door/tailgate/hatch window is open light) is on, very very dim. So dim you can not see it when parked outside, only in garage. When you open a door, the light lights up fully, but close the door, it stays on ...
