Never mind. Got it figured out. Just pull out the old one, spray a little silicone on the rubber, then slide back down. It's was a whole lot easier than I thought.

Thanks! I haven't really had an issues with it in all that time. It's been a great vehicle! It don't think it's glued in. I guess it's just pushed down into the door along the track. I'm not sure if I need to crack open the door panel or what not.

Window weatherstripping replacement help needed

I have to replace the driver's side window weatherstripping. Does anyone know the best way to do this? I have the part in hand but I'd like to save the $90/hour in labor that the dealer charges. Thanks!

Re: Front end cover (abyss gt)

My Vibe front end is taking a pounding from rocks and other debris. I have multiple chips and scatches on the hood and the grey bumper is all pitted. It's only got 13K miles and not even 9 months old! I'm going to get reamed when I turn this in when the lease is up. This issue regarding the front co...

Break noise/grinding detected...

The other day when I was getting ready to head out to work in the morning, I noticed an almost grinding noise when of course I pushed the brakes. It seemed to go away after a short while. It's been in the 20's and 30's here for a while now. I was wondering if perhaps the cold had anything to do with...

Heated Seats?

Anyone heard if Pontiac has any plans for making heated seats an option or if there are aftermarket kits/seats available? That would sure be nice on those sub-freezing mornings! My roommate has a Jetta with the heated seats and boy do they make a big difference!Andrew

Re: Squeaking coming from dash gauges... (NSimkins)

Thanks for the heads up. Actually after I posted this I dug a little deeper and found that tread myself. Hopefully I can get the dealer to fix this before X-mas. My dad works at that dealership so I'm counting on getting this taken care of asap. Thanks again! Andrew

Re: Squeaking coming from dash gauges...

Recently I've noticed an annoying squeaking coming from the dash. I finally isolated it to the gauge housings. If you grab them and push/pull around you can hear it. It looks like the plastic from the gauge housings is rubbing the plastic dash itself. Perhaps it's the cold weather but even when the ...

Re: Kayak Carrier? (ryno63go)

That's the same kayak I have! Mine's the granite colored one. I might just buy the cross bars from Pontiac and play around with the different stackers and other systems. I doubt I'll get it out until next year though. Thanks for the info. By the way, have you taken your kayak out for overnight or mu...

License Plate clips

One of my front license plate clips came off and was lost. It's time to put plates on as my temp tag is expired. Does anyone know if there are aftermarket ones available? I called the parts department at the dealership and the guy told me that it was going to cost like $17 bucks per clip! I told him...

Kayak Carrier?

Has anyone heard if there is a kayak mount in the works or if existing mounts fit the mounting bars now available? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
