I have to replace the driver's side window weatherstripping. Does anyone know the best way to do this? I have the part in hand but I'd like to save the $90/hour in labor that the dealer charges. Thanks!
Thanks! I haven't really had an issues with it in all that time. It's been a great vehicle! It don't think it's glued in. I guess it's just pushed down into the door along the track. I'm not sure if I need to crack open the door panel or what not.
Never mind. Got it figured out. Just pull out the old one, spray a little silicone on the rubber, then slide back down. It's was a whole lot easier than I thought.
This 73 year old gray haired grandma needs more specific instructions for removing/replacing the insulation around the doors.....I can afford the $300.00 the dealer wants. Please walk me through the process.Thank youmariposa37
can anyone tell me hopw I can harmlessly remove these? I'm going to spray rubber coating over them since they look like crap, but I need them to remain intact when I remove them.
should just pull out and be able to reinstall without any trouble, unless they're really destroyed. (like mine) glad this got bumped up so i finally get the part number. my driver visor is not going back on until this is fixed. it will have to be retaped and installed
