If we can only get 4 people, that'd be a LOT of upfront money... so... you have a rich uncle who owes you a birthday present? I'm estimating a total upfront cost of around $15,000... that's $750 times 20. If we have to proceed with 4 people, that's $3750 each, and $7500 for Shadow-Vibe. I don't thin...

I sent a message inquiring, but I assume you'll have to get it painted. I'm 99% sure the kit will include both bumpers and the side skirts, but I asked, just in case they wanted to throw in the fenders or roof rails or something. Not likely, but if they offer, cool. We'll wait until we have enough pe...

New GT-R Body Kit Group Buy

I got some new information about a GT-R body kit. I'm starting this new thread because the previous thread was more of a decision on which type of body kit we'd like to go after first.Extreme Dimensions would need 20 confirmed buyers, each of which would need to make a 25% deposit on the kit before ...

So far, it seems like the consensus is a cross between Nascarxprt's pictures and the GT-R kit... If anyone could sketch something that would cross the best features of both, that would probably help quite a bit. I would, but I can't draw worth crap.

Sadly, I can't get a used GT because it's not AWD. That's the singular reason I bought a Vibe to begin with. It was cheap, got good gas mileage, and was AWD. Driving 35 miles to and from work every day, often in 3-6 inches of snow in the winter necessitates an AWD vehicle. If I could afford a bigger...

It'll definitely be available for 03-04 Vibes. If not, I won't be getting one. Who would prefer something more aggressive, like NascarXprt's drawings, versus the GT-R kit? Personally, I'm leaning more towards NascarXprt's stuff, because I don't think the GT-R looks like it has a minimalist body kit ...

Re: Performance Increase (Mr. Poopypants)

I'm making a list of the things I want, and categorizing them so when I get that feeling that tells me to mod something, I can go to the list and get something from the category I feel I'm lacking in. What about one of the cheap computer chips from ebay, like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...

Performance Increase

I'm just starting to get into the whole modding scene, so please go easy on me... I don't know much about cars, but I'm learning what I can.Right now, I have a stock 2003 AWD (no GT, sadly) with a pitiful 130hp. What would be some of the most cost effective ways of increaseing the performance of the...

ATTENTION: New Body Kit Possible

I've been researching body kits for the Vibe, and so far, have come up a bit short. I really like the Psychovibe / Aerogear body kit, but honestly, I think it's a bit expensive, and I think the Vibe community could use some alternative options. To that end, I've been contacting several companies tha...

Nevermind. After reading several pages into the thread, I noticed that the group buy is over by far.Where would everyone recommend getting the body kit? Who has the best price? The best price I've seen so far is from http://www.aerotrends.com.

Re: Passenger Side Leak (ColonelPanic)

That was it! Thanks a LOT! You just saved me a bunch of hassle of trying to drop it off to get fixed when it was something really easy That tube is really in a bad position... I have long legs, and even with the passenger seat all the way back, I must knock it loose somehow. The first time was just ...

Re: Here are good pics of the Psychovibe body kit (Psychovibe)

How would one go about getting in on the group buy, or is it too late now? Also, who would I talk to about getting it wholesale (my family owns a car & truck accessories store, and we certainly wouldn't mind being the only store within 100 miles with good access to this type of mod)?

Passenger Side Leak

I've got a problem with the air conditioning, I think. Just a couple of days ago, I found that it's dripping the water INSIDE the car, instead of under it. It's making a small, but steadily growing puddle on the passenger side, at the front of the floor mat. I tried to feel my way around under / beh...

Injen CAI vs. e-bay CAI

A friend of mine is questioning the reasoning behind spending $200 or so on an Injen CAI rather than spending $50 on a CAI from ebay. I honestly don't know enough about the whole thing to make any argument about it, but I thought I'd ask the experts here... why would you spend 4-5 times as much on a...

Re: Feeler thread~ Who here would like to have their gauges customized? (ArcsVibe)

I'm interested too... I like the stock 03 guages, I just don't like the red color. If he could just switch from red to blue (or something similar), and depending on the price, I'd be in.

Instrument Panel Backlight

I searched the archives, but I didn't find anything terribly helpful. I have a 2003 Vibe, with the original instrument panel... which was nice at first, but the red backlight is really starting to get to me. I like everything else about the instrument panel, but I'd be the happiest Vibe owner in the...

Re: Upgrading 2003 Vibe

Thanks for the link, and the advice. I'm having some trouble locating several things though. I'm new to the whole mod / custom scene, so I'm not even sure if I'm looking for the right things. Like I said, I do want a CAI, and it looks like everyone is using or recommends the Injen one, which is roug...

Upgrading 2003 Vibe

I've got a stock 2003 Vibe, nothing new or upgraded about it, except for a new CD deck and sirius radio. It's the first car I've ever purchased, let alone brand new car (it's 2 years old now), and I'm looking to spice it up a little so I can stay excited about driving it. I don't race it, and I'll p...

Re: Am I the only dumb-@$$ so far??? (damronjr)

I've been seriously considering getting a body kit for my 03 Vibe, but I live in Pennsylvania, which is notorious for its crappy roads. In particular, I have to travel one of the worst sections of route 80 in the state. As of right now, my Vibe is a COMPLETELY stock AWD, non-GT version. If I get a b...
