I have no problem with hills other than the occasional shift down one gear. Even towing a 1600lb trailer I have little problem on hills and there are serious hills where I live. You don't mention whether you have an auto or standard. My 5 speed is very good. I've driven autos and they do like to down...

Good to hear it freed the motor up a bit. Do you have an Auto or 5 speed? Have you had any issues or heard of any issues with battery charging or AC operation? I suspect if the pulley ratios have that big an impact without any downside, that Toyota would be using them stock as these should increase ...

The $50ish sandwich adapter is a very good option for adding the temp sender. It won't show you the hottest temperature but it will provide you with a baseline of normal operating temperature that you will have as a reference when you're running it hard.I have a sandwich adapter feeding a bypass fil...

Re: Gas milage report (NewNeptune)

I'm very surprised to see the low MPG that people are reporting but since many of the threads are regarding performance I guess I'm not shocked. I suspect power and performance are the first considerations of most. I've tracked my mileage a dozen times or so on my 2005 base/5speed and haven't gotten...

Re: Towing with Vibe (CanadianTim)

This popup is just under 12' long and 8' wide so is not one of the smallest out there. I've seen some about 30% smaller and lighter. Also seen some that are absolutely stupidly huge. It's 19' long when open so it sleeps 6, has a 3 burner stove that can be used inside or outside, icebox cooler, small...

Thanks go out to the guy who posted the photos on this site of connecting to the rear wire harness - saved me some brain power. The Vibe tows VERY well. The rea...
