Re: (northvibe)

Yes, switch on: DRLs and Auto lights work. Switch off: no DRLs and the headlights are manual to operate.I installed a switch on the red w/ white stripe wire at pin #12 on the DRL module. I used the Toyota Switch Part #00550-42966, which for me had 2 prongs (not 3 as listed by Dalenet.com), no ground...

DRL questionI bought the Toyota Switch Part #00550-42966, and it only has 2 prongs on the back, not 3. Will this still work? How?On the webpage write up (http://dalenet.com/matrixvibe/): Where does the load wire come from? Below step 10?

"The newer vehicles I have seen do now. Like a maze, there is not a straight path down into the tank so a hose could not be passed through. Then there was a spring loaded door that had to open. Not hinged on one end, it opened and closed flush, fluid would open it but a hose would compress it a...

Jensen VM9510 install

Well I installed my Jensen VM9510 today. It was easy to install and the whole thing cost me about $700. It is really nice and I would recommend this unit.I bought it here:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...47&rd= 1&ssPageName=WDVWAnd I bought these at Circuit City:Wiring harness: Metra 80-2003...

Re: (Jahntassa)

I’m up for recommendations on a LCD drop down. I searched and searched the net and could not find a write up for an install of a drop down for a Vibe or Matrix. Is the any support or brace above the dome light behind the sunroof? What about wiring it?Thanks again for the help.

Re: (stahl)

The DVD excitement is contagious. My wife and I picked up the install pieces at Circuit City yesterday. So I showed her the model I ordered. Now she wants to get the rear headrest LCD screens (both sides) and we only have one kid.

Install, DVD/TV/CD??

I ordered a Jensen VM9510, and I have a couple of questions:1. Where do you put the TV antenna?2. Does the factory Moon and Tunes affect the install? It is a 2003 and I already picked up the Metra attachments for the system.Thanks.

Re: (R1)

Yes the R1 and the other liter bikes are bada$$, but if you get a Zx-6 or R6 your insurance will be less and they will teach you to be a better rider. The 1000cc bikes are more forgiving because of their huge powerband. If you learn to stay in the smaller 600cc powerband you will be able to run fast...

Re: Anyone out there ride street bikes? (russ257)

Those bikes are all very different. If you want a sport bike go by a GSXR1000 or ZX10. Yes the R1 and 1000RR are nice bikes but the Suzuki and Kawi are better. A Busa is way too heavy, a GSXR1000 will smoke it pretty much everywhere except at the dragstrip and that would be a close race. Be prepared...

Re: (Jahntassa)

No, I'm just looking for the front. The Jenson VM-9510 looks nice, it even has the option to run a second screen in the rear if you want. Jahntassa, do you have an experience wiring one of these? Do you have a recommended place to buy. I was looking at Crutchfield.com and they don't sell the 9510, o...

In Dash DVD player

Recommendations for an in dash DVD/CD player as a replacement for the stock CD player for a 2003 Vibe? I want one that plays DVDs while the car is moving, for my kid not me. Any recommendations are welcome and tips on installation are appreciated.I was thinking about something like this: http://www....
