Re: Old Man Winter's Subaru WRX (ragingfish)

The WRX was the car I wanted originally….but could not find a wagon available at the time. I then went for the Vibe GT or Matrix XRS and GM had a “get out of your GM lease at no cost” program on at the time….soooo Vibe GT it was.I liked the car, but was having issues with mod market (lack of...

Re: Old Man Winter's Subaru WRX (old man winter)

I thought that I would drop by Genvibe and see what was happening….It had been a long time. I have done mod work to the WRX at ADP Motorsports in Toronto. I have added an up-pipe, down-pipe, full MRT exhaust, ECUTEK ecu mapping, and a K&N air filter. I have bolted a set of 17x7.5 OZ Superlegge...

Typical modern GM…has to go look across a pond to find an idea. Why is GM so screwed that they cannot come up with original concepts and develop them into the show room? We Vibe owners (past and present) are really driving a Toyota, way to go Bob….how original. The Holden…now that is cool. I wi...

Audi A3 coming to North America

Rumors have been circulating for some time about the A3/S3 coming to America and while Audi of America is officially only saying that they are investigating the potential for the A3 in America, some very reliable sources have hinted at a more probable scenario. Yes….slipping is the best. You would have to be a moron to dump @ 5000. There is no advantage to dumping. I pump the throttle slightly between 3500 and 4000. When I decide to go for it I simultaneously floor the accelerator and let the clutch out slowly. When the car jumps out I let the clutch all...

Yes, Mach ZED, good for lake racing but handles like a tractor in the corners…In Canada we say ZED for Z, not ZEE. ZEE sounds way too wimpy, ZED is more muscular. ZED 28 sounds than ZEE 28, or 350 ZED vs. 350 ZEE. Wimpy ZEE, I have to go for a PEE.
