Re: Please help my photography business! (savedbyzero)

Sorry. I guess my warped gay sense of humor doesn't get through on line. I really do think your work is great. My comment about mixed marriages was indeed male/female. I have no problem with anyone getting married.

Great photography. I had to vote for you, even though it looks like you only do mixed marriages.

Re: Life in KY (zionzr2)

Berea's big claim to fame is Berea College. Mostly lower income KY students. Last I heard you had to be in their work/study program to be a student. They run about everything in town - a hotel, food facilities, gift shops, etc. The locals are fairly redneck.

Re: Trailer towing... (Andrew-4ce)

I have towed a fair amount. Moved some furniture in a small enclosed trailer from Norfolk, VA to Chicago. Last month we pulled a light weight tent camper (designed for motorcycles) from Chicago to Utah, to Memphis, back to Chicago. And just this weekend did some more moving with an open trailer. We ...

Re: questions from new owner (Rivet)

I can offer one bit of information: The manual says that the overdrive has to be off when towing. We had a rather long tow (Norfolk, VA to Chicago, IL) and it proved to be a nuisance - every time you shut the car off the overdrive automatically is on again when you restart.

Re: What convertible would you buy? (iinan)

I have to agree with most of what Kostby said.I have a 1987 VW Cabriolet - white with white convertible top and white leather interior. It's a fun car but not suitable for a daily driver. For one thing the trunk is a joke.I also have a 2000 Chrysler Sebring convertible - black with a tan top and tan...

Re: Insurance in Michigan = YIKES! (Flip-Side)

It's not so much the state you live in as the area. With most insurance companies it's the zip code. If you live in or near Detroit expect the worst. We moved from Atlanta, GA to Kalkaska, MI (middle of the freakin' woods) and our insurance rates went down to an amazing level. Moved from there to Ch...

newbie - sort of

We have a 2003 Neptune AWD monotone that we purchased new in Feb 2003, when we lived in Michigan (now in Chicago). I found this site about a year ago and have lurked almost daily. It has provided lots of good info and I felt it was about time to join in (don't want to rush into these things).
