anthonygobot,We pulled our Little Guy from Indiana to Alaska and back last summer. My wife still drives her Vibe with no ill effects. We went thru lots of real mountains. the Canadian Rockies. We did not tear up the engine 1.8L or waste a lot of gas. We averaged 26mpg! If we drove our truck camper w...

Funny, I posted the original recall in the The Vibe Lounge last week early in the mourning. Mods made it disappear, because when I got home. it was gone. True I didn't post the whole article, I just made a link. I feel like copy and pasting somebody else's work might be a violation. With newspapers ...

New Vibe and our teardrop camper Trip Report

I towed our Little Guy teardrop camper to N.C. this week (1400mi.) using my new Vibe. My new Vibe is a striped down, no options manual trans. Vibe, so I wondered how it would do. I still havent added up the gas receipts to figure my mileage exactly, but the scangauge indicated it was above 26mpg.Whe...

I think you will find a LOT of Pop-Up campers well under the 1500 lbs. that Vibes are rated for. You might even find some even smaller Pop-Up campers made for motorcycles. The problem that I would have with one on a Vibe is most are 7' wide! We had one that we towed with our truck like it wasent eve...

So can we completely take off roof rack?

Dear wife wants to have the roof rack completely taken off. Can this be done by a competent body shop? Has anyone here done it? I think it would look good, She already shaved the emblems including the Pontiac badge in front (I don't like that look). I do think removing the roof rack would look good.

Black Roof rails ???

WE just got a new Black GT Vibe, and it has chrome metal roof rails. Somewhere I have seen pictures (GM Vibe page) of Vibe's with black luggage rails. We thought we ordered the body color match option. I guess my question is, how do you get BLACK roof rails?
