Old post, but the fill port is close to the strut tower. The other port is tucked in down low.

It is supposed to be a closed system, so it shouldn't magically go low. If it's low, there is usually a leak of some sort.

The part number you provided IS a Toyota part number. However, that number says it fits Tundras and Sequoias. Your best bet may to be find one in a local junkyard and try to snag it. What brand coil/plug is being used? I had an issue with the Vibe I recently bought that had 4 brand new coils from a parts store. It was misfiring on all 4 cylinders. I swapped them with good, used OEM coils, and have been running the vehicle as is.

Yours has the 2AZ. You will need to replace it with the same motor. Being yours is FWD, you have a variety of 2009-2010 Vibe GT/AWD and Matrix XRS/AWD to pick from. This motor was also on Corollas and Camrys of that timeframe. I think even some RAV4s had them in it.

FWIW, I am sure you can use basically any from 2005-2008 that had ABS/traction control. Moons/tunes, etc. wouldn't make any difference in this regard.

Front pads and rotors are the same for all 2003-2008 Vibes. The rears have different setups for base drum, AWD drum, and GT (disc/drum-in-hat). I cannot remember the part numbers, but my local AutoZone stocks all the setups....probably because I keep buying them.

I've had to replace the pigtail on several of the ones we have owned throughout the years. AutoZone sells one that is supposedly made with a ceramic connector to help with the heat that causes issues.

I've only ever broken the cast hex/nut once on the dozens of Vibes I've owned. It was one with 250k+ miles on it when I bought it and changed the belt. Cost will vary drastically depending on the shop you go to. Best bet is to call a few local paint shops. There are shops that can do a cheap respray taping off the windows. Others want to remove the glass and everything. I'd say probably a minimum of $1000-1500 these days for the cheap version.
