I used Prestone GM Dexcool from the local Autozone.
I think it's called out in the owners manual.
Mixed 50-50 with distilled water.

The permatex black on the door switch didn't last very long.
I used a hot melt glue gun and it works great and is still tight. No fixturing, just hold still for 30 secs.
