Re: (WaveAction)

I've heard it can occur at completely random mileages. Some early on, some much later. Mine occurred around 89k. I meant to post follow up pictures as I took the actuator apart and the main gear that moves the fresh/recirculate door open and closed was missing 2 teeth out of the gear. But, I threw i...

Hvac door actuator replacement (Flapping noise on passenger side)

To all of those who have had the flapping noise happening behind the passenger side of the dash when the fresh air is selected on the hvac (and the noise goes away when you switch to recirculate), I have fixed it. Thanks to this forum (I forgot who posted the actual part number) but I went to http:/...

Passenger door rattle, noise, whatever....

I have a 2003 vibe, bought it used from carmax. I love it to death but there are a few rattles that have developed that drive me up the wall. The one that pains me the most, I thought was in the b pillar between the front and back passenger doors. After thoroughly destroying the plastics several tim...

naw, got em off ebay, they just came in bubble wrap. The cant draw that much power, you can only see them at night. One last question.... Does that gadget 10 amps max total for both or 10 max in each?

Re: (ragingfish)

so, just pull out the cig fuse, pop that bad boy in and wire away? is 10 amps sufficient for two little neon lights? If so, that may be the easiest solution. I may stick with the switch in the dash as its right above the fuse block and I wouldnt have to run so much wire. Great idea though, you haven...

Here is a quick drawing of how I attempted to wire it Basically I cut the pos and negative of the cig lighter right before the little harness that plugs in the back. I attached the pos and neg of the lights to the source, then reconnected the harness as well. The positive went to the switch and back...

I have two 10 inch neon lights that at presently are hanging under the dash illuminating the driver and pasengers feet, merely plugged into the cigarette lighter port. it appears that there is a delay from the press of a button, click, then the all four door thunk. I will have to check again and see. So if that IS the case, it can be switched to the two pulse thing and we're good?

I just installed an aftermarket HU with my 2003 vibe. I got the scosche bracket, wireing harness and the FAI-3 (I think) line level converter. I got everything in and everything, and its working. I installed the line level converter between the wiring harness from the stereo and the factory harness....
