Loose wire under alternator connects to what

Pulled a wire loose while working on alternator on my 04 Vibe GT. It's a blue wire that was alone in its plastic conduit coming from in the harness that includes the alternator connectors. There looks to be a switch mounted in top of the A/C compressor with a hole that it might have come out of, but...

Alternator for 04 GT

Alternator isn't charging, tested at a parts store and they saw voltage problems, plus dadh light is now on after that test. Looking around and I'm not sure if the 1zz is different from the 2zz, and see a wide range of prices. Before I just walk to the local auto parts store I thought I'd see what f...

I can work the latch manually with a screwdriver, but it doesn't grab the retainer on the body. Can't see how to fix it installed, but how the heck do I get it out?! Panel is off, screws are off, but the rod to the door handle doesn't want to come off the handle even though I flipped a clip holding ...

Rear and passenger power windows not working

My 2004 GT's driver window is a bit off the track so has only gone down about an inch for some time. Today it was able to go down 6 inches. So it was a hot day and I left it down and the passenger window all the way down. It rained hard while I was out in a different car. Driver window went up but j...

Came back from vacation and 2003 Vibe GT wouldn't start, no instrument lights or buzzer when key was inserted. Went to jump start and as soon as connection was made the horn and headlights came on, each time. Hooked charger up, dead battery began charging ok (no horn or headlights). Tightened a loos...

Yeah, 3 gears, reverse, 1st and 2nd. Reverse does use the left-right cable, so I'll be surprised if the cable binds in just one direction.
