I switched to Royal Purple 10w30 & K&N oil filter at the 18,000 mile mark. noticed the car to be smoother running. Put Royal Purple 10w30 & K&N oil filter in my 05 Colorado at the 1000 mile mark. Everything runs great & smooth.

do you have to use a special paint for that?

I forgot to ask, but I have 18,000 miles on the Vibe. Is it ok to switch to Royal Purple? I've read elsewhere that switching around 20,000 miles may cause oil leaks or other problems. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the reply's. I think i will go ahead and switch to Royal Purple, to many great raves about this stuff. I will also be using the K&N oil filter as well. Can't wait to see the difference. I'll let everyone knows how it turns out.
