I saw that thread. I think you'd be better off with either the GReddy eManage or a Unichip.

Does it matter if it's not listed for the Vibe, when the Vibe and Matrix have the exact same engine?

Judging from the results of their other cams, and the results of cams from different companies, I'd hazzard the following estimation (NA applications):stage 1: +05%stage 2: +10%This, of course, is on top of your existing mods, meaning the actual numbers will depend on your current output.

2ZZ engines do well with a port and polish job on the stock header, as they are exceptionally built. On the other hand, the 1ZZ, as an economy engine, will see greater results from mods, since I/H/E really open it up and increase its aspirative capacity.

The JP header and mid-pipe combo is great, especially with the mods you already have. It's also 100% bolt-on, and the header has the bung for the O2 sensor, so no CEL.

I saw gains of aprx 20% with a custom intake, DC header, Magnaflow cat, and Magnaflow cat-back. I was around 140whp before I added my grounding kit. Now, I'm around 145whp.

It voids me emissions warranty. Toyota would be hard pressed to say that ground wires void my engine warranty. Remember, they have to prove that a mod is the cause of trouble. Missing the first O2 sensor might make me run a little bit lean, but Toyotas are tuned rich to begin with, and it's nothing ...

Quote »Did you notice a difference in horsepower/torque?I basically did I/H/E at the same time, which resulted in ~140whp. I tested this using a G-Tech performance meter, which isn't as accurate as a dyno, but gives good approximations. I double checked the whp results using my 0-60 time (curb weig...

I know this thread is three weeks old, but I wanted to clarify something. I use the DC Sports Celica GT header on my base Matrix. The header fits, but it doesn't have a bung for the O2 sensor. You can use it, and have it work great, but you will have a CEL (like I do) until you install an O2 sensor.

I reccomend the DC header. I have one on my base Matrix and it's amazing. My current I/H/E setup has me putting out 137 to the wheels

I bought my Trix because it had the best price. If I had to do it all over again, I'd still get whichever had the best price!

Well, the 1ZZ and 2ZZ at least have the variable valve timing, and the cam phase changeover in the 2ZZ does provide extra power when one has the space to fully wind out the engine.

I'm not sure what it stands for - my guess would be that it's the owners initials or something like that. A lot of Trix and Rolla owners that have the SC use both the JP midpipe and header on their cars.
