No joke, my hood was also becoming chip city until I threw on some 3M. It's not cheap, but at least I don't have the stress of seeing a new chip everytime I get out of the car.

I slapped on some paint protective film from 3M. Not cheap, but it's transparent, and it keep the paint from chipping off! Prevents...

Ok. here is a better example. Today, I was wiring my GPS to the under dash fuse box, and like always, I had the radio on. I have to have the driver door open because half my body is hanging out the door. The dog on beeping was next to my ear drum No big deal, I was hoping that I could snip the wires...

Well, I need the key in the ignition to play the radio. I like to play the radio when I'm working or cleaning the car. With the exception of when I'm pointing the water hose at the car, my door is usually open. The beeping overpowers the radio and my sanity.

What creates the annoyance: Door open, with the key in the ignition.Anyone know how to unplug the speaker that provides the beeping noise? Where is the speaker?
