Used the scratch remover.Definitely easy to use.Worked great on light scratches.Minimized the appearance of the deeper scratches.Definitely better after than before.

Mother's California Gold Scratch Remover.

Anyone ever use Mother's California Gold Scratch Remover?I've gotten my car back down to the "pre-touchup paint" stage. If you were at the Michigan Rally and saw the car that looked like (removed) because of the bad paint....that was me.I got the paint/primer/clear coat off after much work ...

Take it from someone that learned the hard way. Get the touchup paint from your dealer.Someone at the Michigan Rally suggested Mother's Paint Chip Repair for evening out the "lumps and bumps" that come from the touch up paint. I've not used it yet but will this weekend. Looks like it shoul...

Roady is super simple if you don't mind looking at the wires. If you decide to hide the wires it's still pretty easy, you just need to be creative. Total installation takes about 15-20 minutes if you're going the easy way, a bit longer if you're hiding the wires. If I can do it, ANYONE can do it.Hard...

Well...it's before 11pm..so here goes.Count me in. I can replace one of the no-shows or maybe's if they decide to be "no's".I'm over 25 too, so I can be a chaperone if needed. If it works out that we're over booked, I'll be ok with that too.

Re: NOT an exact match. (Sputnik)

Vibe is Salsa.Which would help explain why the paint looks worse in 18 months than that of the Ford Escort I had for 6 years.Thinking of renaming the car "Chips-n-Salsa"

Dupli-Color. I thought it had the clearcoat built in, but it's looking like maybe it doesn't.I'll have to wander over to the auto parts store and pick up some clearcoat....hopefully that'll help. Thanks : )

NOT an exact match.

I had decided my car had too many scratches and dings on it, and that I would tackle the task of touching them up.After getting automotive paint on my hands and jeans, I got all the scratches and dings painted over. They would lok great......except that they don't blend in with the rest of the paint...

*best* soap?Well, my vote for best soap goes for Simple Green. It's super-duper-mulit purpose. I'm pretty sure you could use it to clean just about everything in, on, and around you Vibe. It's REALLY concentrated, so dilute it well or you'll strip your paint. Actually that's why I like it. When I wa...

Ashtray??And to think all this time I've been using it to hold my money for the turnpike. I figured the designers thought two coin holders weren't enough and thought to give us all a LARGE coin holder.Got mine for free since I've got the 2003 model, it's actually quite handy.Ok...so I did know it wa...

Winky.I blame my mother for this name, she started calling my vibe Winky because it "winks" it's lights at you when you lock/unlock the doors using the remote.I tried to change the name since Winky is the name of a house-elf in the Harry Potter books, unfortunately the name stuck.

The one thing I find really quirky about my Vibe is that there's no trunk release from the inside of the car. Just a little button to pop the glass part. The other quirk is that the cupholders are different sizes, to me that just seems odd.Otherwise, I love this car.
