Mother's California Gold Scratch Remover.

Post by Winky43402 »

Anyone ever use Mother's California Gold Scratch Remover?I've gotten my car back down to the "pre-touchup paint" stage. If you were at the Michigan Rally and saw the car that looked like (removed) because of the bad paint....that was me.I got the paint/primer/clear coat off after much work with Mother's paint chip repair. It looks a lot better, but I've still got cloudy scratches from the sandpaper and still the scratches that started the whole mess in the beginning.I believe that I can learn to love the scratches if necessary, but would really like to find a way to get rid of (or minimize) the cloudy hazy appearance.I have tried a light application of polishing compound and a coat of good wax, it made a small improvement.Should I seek out the Mother's Scratch Remover?Or are there other suggestions on what I should use?(I would've posted a picture of the cloudy hazy clearcoat, but I've got no way to do that.)Thanks a bunch : )PS to the owner of the Neptune Vibe that told me about the Paint Chip Repair, I totally owe you a drink....

Used the scratch remover.Definitely easy to use.Worked great on light scratches.Minimized the appearance of the deeper scratches.Definitely better after than before.
