find a used '01 Saab 9-3 Viggen. I had one, and it was fun as hell. Parts are a little pricey, but if it's a car for enjoyment only, then you can't go wrong. Only 21 hardtops were imported into Canada in 2001, so you're assured a little bit of exclusivity.a little eye candy for you...

coolio...thanks for the info. i figured that hubcaps don't create environmentally sealed areas, and that salt would get in there regardless...but now i can sleep at night, knowing that I'm not causing anything bad to happen.

as much as I hate to bring up dead threads...is there any potential damage caused to the front hubs/threaded shaft (can't remember what it's called now...of course) by exposure to salt/road grime? I figured that hubcaps wouldn't completely protect those areas anyhow, but should I put something (like...

basically whatever gives the greatest tax break (up here, that would be the RSP) or if you need moderate liquidity, something with a rate of return in the 4-5% range. AWD doesn't help you stop any better in the snow, so if your only motivation for AWD is for snow acceleration, I would save the money and get a good set of winter/snow tires. I've never had AWD, and I've never had any problems with winter driving. In slippery conditions, when you accelerate, the weig...

don't these engines have knock sensors that will compensate for lower octane levels? The red glow to everything made me feel like I was in a neon hell. It drove well enough, but I couldn't get over the interior t...
