Re: (engineertwin2)

Thank you all for your help. I brought the tires down to 32 and it's a better ride. I also reset the tire pressure monitor and so far things seem okay. Thank you.

Tire pressure for Blizzaks on 16", Tire Pressure Monitor lit up today

I switched in my snow tires yesterday. I didn't drive all that much between that time but this evening my tire pressure monitor light came on. I don't think there's a flat or a slow leak since that happened to me before. I checked my tire pressures and they are at 35 right now. I know the side of th...

Re: Two-tone 2005?? and other 2005 questions (SpaceGal)

I guess because the incentives are good and my hubby would like to get me a new car. We wouldn't lose much money if any by going to the 2005. Granted I wasn't abig fan of the new front side of the 2005 but it's growing on me now and I do like the fact that the new moon and tunes package is nicer.

Two-tone 2005?? and other 2005 questions

Hi there,Well with all the new GM Card and GM discounts, my hubby wants to trade in my 2004 two-tone abyss vibe for a new 2005. I'm beginning to get the suspicious feeling that there aren't any two-tone 2005 models. While at one dealership, the salesman said that as far as he knows GM is not making ...

I got my Vibe for now...I think maybe when the Vue goes hybrid then I might consider it again when I might trade in.Congrats on the new car...Rainforest Green is the same ...

Re: tire changing time! (NSimkins)

I just changed mine out the other day. It kind of sucked since I got my winter tires late in the season...it never really snowed more than 2 inches...so I got really no use out of them. I guess better safe than sorry tho. But now I have whatever tires my Vibe came with. We'll see how they drive when...

Granted, I'm quite fortunate to not have a person copying my car. But I do have neighbors that buy things they see in my apartment. What's funny is that before I brought home my lucky bamboo they had commented oh now "trendy" those were. We bring our bamboo home and the very next day they ...

Re: How often does everyone wash their cars in the winter (TRD4reel)

Well I've had my Vibe for a month now and finally got it washed on it's one month birthday. We had awful weather for a while but then the sun broke through this past week...so I was finally able to run to a car wash...the first time they didn't do a great job so I went back and now it's all spiffy a...

cibomatto,Yeah I am terribly bummed...I feel like I ruined my insurance rates and have brought upon bad karma on my Vibe...hence it's bad vibe for now. *sigh* not to be so dramatic tho...just I hate having this feeling...I guess it didn't help that the officer made me feel like I murdered someone. Liverpool...near Syracuse...up until the whole incident I was really loving this place. I thought wow it nice to live where people are not rude and everything's relaxed. Then this happened and I feel slighted. I know everyone says it's not a big deal...but I feel like it is. I guess that's because i...

Help with speeding ticket in a small town

Man this sucks...so here's my sad little story. I just moved to this small town (it's actually a village with 2500 residents) in Central New York and I got pulled over for doing 42 in a 30 zone in this stupid village I lived in. Now I have a summons to go to court. I've only been here a week and man...

Snow brush/broom--is this bad for my Vibe

After reading some posts regarding brushes with plastic or metal bristles, I was wondering if this included snow brushes/brooms. My Vibe is barely a month old and of course I live in a really snowy region. I've been using a brush to take the snow off, I know I've probably caused some clear coat scra...

Re: cargo nets - should I go with 2 small side nets or one big net across cargo area (aggie_vibe)

My vibe came with the cargo net package and I really like it...great for keeping eggs and fragile items from sliding around the back too much. I've used the net that extends across the whole back...I haven't quite gotten around to using the side one yet...but I'm sure it's just a matter of time once...

Re: Which winter tires do you have? (18stars)

I guess it's late in the season now that it's February, so I had trouble finding good winter tires locally. One place offered to get me the Nokians...which sounded great but I know so little about. Finally, I was able to find some Blizzaks at a local Firestone. I hopefully got a good deal...tirerack...

Problems with unocking doors near other vibes

I was out running errands and when i returned to my car...I couldn't open the door I kept hitting the unlock button but nothing. I first thought my husband was messing with me by locking right as I unlocked but that wasn't the case. Finally, I was able to get the car to unlock with the keyless entry...

Which winter tires do you have?

Hi there everyone,I just recently had some experience driving my car in heavy winter snow conditions. My hubby was driving may car and commented on how bad my tires are. So being that I'm sorta a newbie winter driver we're thinking of getting a good set of winter tires. I thought it would be cool to...

Hi everyone...Well I finally took delivery of my Vibe this Tuesday...I'm quite excited about it. Granted I didn't get to spend much time with it. Re: What's your Vibes color?

Before I saw a Vibe in person I really wanted Salsa. It looked like an awesome deep red. I went to the dealership and that day it was overcast and drizzling...but the Salsa looked more maroon. I went back the next day and felt like it didn't look as nice as I saw in pictures, but I still liked it......
