Looks like a very nice area to live in!How is the Vibe holding up this winter? This is my first winter with the car, besides the battery the heating can be a little stronger!

I agree with most of us, this week, the battery is not very cooperative... After 5 hours in the cold (-20~ -24°C) this noon, it was a pain to start. But, as you saw, I was able to be back home...

-21 here today, no probs starting but I'd hate to have to be out there with a hair dryer at 7am.Once I finish the roll of film in my camera at the detriot auto show this weekend, I'll get the pics of my Vibe in winter up for you to see since they are at the beginning of the roll. I have before and after shots of the car when I tinted the windows.

I will think and think and think again!

that is a beautiful pic there, vibesalsa! here are some pics i took on the first when i went snowboarding at Alyeska resort in Girdwood, AK. Was a bit chilly, but a clear day. you can see Cook Inlet there in the background. the lodge is half way up the mountain you see on the right, accessible by several chairlifts and a tram. the sunset was breath taking!
Hi All,I'm a new Vibe owner...I still haven't pick up my car but I will soon...hopefully this weekend.VibeSalsa--I notice you have splash guards on your car...are they useful and helpful for your car? I'm a bit undecided on whether or not to get them for my Vibe...but we do get a lot of snow by where I live. I figured I could debate about the splash guards and ask them to install it before I pick up my car.Any opinions??Thank you
Thanks for the tip...I was talking about the splash guards with the hubby and he agreed it would be a good idea. Only bummer is...there are no front splash guards for the 2004 models...I read elsewhere on the forums that they aren't due out until May 2004...kind of silly since it won't be winter anymore.I wonder how silly a car looks with only the rear splash gauards. Do people just get rear splash guards or just the front splash guards? As you can tell this is my first new car. Can't wait to pick it up!
Well, I agree, 4 are better than 2, but then again, 2 are better than none! They can be useful in summer too. Keeps mud and gunk off your car, makes washing 10x easier! Many have them, overall impression I get is they are a worthy investment!
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
