Re: vdc button?? (millster)

When I win the lottory. One of the many cars I buy will be a G35. Love the lines. Saw one in Florida, just washed and waxed, Black coupe with big wheels, nice but not tacky. I told my wife that I wanted one. She said nice dear, but how do we get all the kids to Disney and Universal. I thought if the...

Re: What is the difference between the base and the GT engine? (scherry2)

The other difference people neglect to mention with the base vs GT is the transmission. I am convinced that the tight gear spread in my 6sp alows me to exploit the rpm range more. I would like to see some race comparisons between the GT and a S/C 5sp. Not just straight line performance, you know cur...

Re: Clunk when engaging (joatmon)

It is likely that a bolt loosened from the previous repair. You know not exactly loose and not exactly tight. With time and vibration, oops there it goes.

Re: (joatmon)

For what it's worth, I bought my car the day after you did!! (12/31/02)I take the ratings of all review magz with a grain of salt. I treat them as well as their data can be. I think the Vibe beat the Matrix (p27) on a technicality P comes before T in the alphabet.I love my Vibe, for better or worse.

Re: Does the Vibe/Matrix have a fuel return line? (satur9)

Any one know what the supercharger kit from TRD does with fuel delivery. Do they change the pressure or injectors?? I would assume if the are stuffing air in they will need fuel to go with it.

Re: Dirty Picture... (Reynoma)

I wish I had pics of mine last week. It had white salt stripes from nose to windshield and nose to drivers door. Very dramatic look on the Neptune Mono.I also had snow packed on the backside of the front wheel well to the tire with about a half inch clearance.will get pictures next time.

Re: Crazy things (fieryhill)

I had a crazy event happen during a snow squall last week.Actually more scary.I was on my way home from work when this snow started coming down like a blizzard. It was five at night and everyone was caught off gaurd, and following too close. A train of cars started braking in the center lane (me inc...

Re: transmission slippage (vibegt11)

Hey GT11, That happened a couple years ago on my Zaskar X, which came stock with Formula Disc brakes. Those were soon updated to Hayes. I don't race Downhill much anymore (Wife & 2 kids). But I am in the process of rebuilding my current bike with Shimano discs. Ride on!!

Re: How bouncy is your vibe? (KSNeptune)

I feel my GT is a litle choppy or bouncy, Espcially here in New Englad with the frost heaves and pot holes. But, I love the way it corners for it's height, the trade off we have to live with I guess

My 2003 turned a year old yesterday (12/31/03). I love yhe GT, I call it my two cars in one. Below 6k normal economy. above 6k sports car like but still practical.A friend bought an 04 GT same as mine Neptune Mono. I noticed the gauges instantly, much easier to read. Oh I noticed his factory 17's ri...

Re: transmission slippage (TheDude)

Dude, check out this post. You may want to pay attention to the reservoir level. My theory is that if the fluid gets hot it may expand and create pressure in the system and cause partial dis-engagement. causing slippage. Strange analogy.I race mountain bikes. On a run down Killington MT in Vermont my...

I logged on tonight because it is my GT's 1st birthday. This post caught my eye. I am also HIGHREV but cannot find my login info and my old e-mail is screwed up so I re-enlisted to get in on this post.I work for a dealer, sorry not a Pontiac dealer. I work at a John Deere construction dealership. I ...
