To be fair, though, it's not about the battery; it's about paying 15 thousand or so for a car that is unreliable as sold (cold starting, anyway), and the callous attitude towards their customers by GM!

My wife had only owned her Vibe for a week or two when we went away for a few days, came back, and the car wouldn't start until I charged the battery. I thought maybe we had left a door open or something, then I read that after 20 minutes, any interior lights etc. will shut down to save the battery,...

The 560 cca battery the dealer just installed in my car is indeed a 6 yr. battery.

Update:The dealer has just ordered me a new 560 amp battery. Cool.

I went away on vacation for a few days, and when we came back, the Vibe had a dead dead dead battery (hadn't been touched in 4 days, nothing left on; this is a three week old car with less than 1000 kms on it). It wouldn't start with a boost. I had to use my own charger and charge it for a few hours...

Two months later, I've emailed the company 3 times, and no response; it's as if they just ignore all complaints and cash the cheque. I'm in the process of having them investigated by the credit card company, since what they are selling (info) is junk.

I purchased the invoice info from carquotes.ca. The MSRP in the info they gave me was off $200; obviously out of date. So I emailed them, asking if the MSRP was out of date, how could I be confident any of the other info was correct? Almost 3 weeks and three emails later, I have yet to see a respons...

My wife decided NOW was the time to buy her new Vibe, simply because she doesn't like the new front end (I agree). We both like the sportier look of the 04.

We've owned our Vibe one week today also. Surprisingly, despite what I've been reading about the stereo system, we are quite pleased with the sound out of our stock system. The wife and I picked up the new Frosty Vibe tonight; we are both very impressed with the car, and love everything about it. The ride is far peppier with the manual than the auto; it's actually a pretty fun little car to drive with a 5 speed!
