Power Shifting?

Can someone correct me if I'm wrong about what power shifting is? I'm not sure, but I think it's when you have a wide open throttle the entire time while shifting through the gears. Has anyone out there tried this before with their vibe? I'm a little scared to try it.

87 Octane in a GT

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site and have a question. I just bought my Vibe GT at the end of the summer and I've been putting 87 octane in it. I haven't noticed any knocking or anything yet. How or will the lower octane fuel damage my engine? Sam
