You'd be able to but you'd need to make sure that the sub has enough room to breathe, that it won't vibrate against anything, and as a safety precaution, make a removable box for it so you can still access your spare tire. What would look nice is to take out the removable grey flooring of the hatch and have a sub enclosure custom made to fit inside of it so it will look flush with the flooring when you put it back on. A shade of light to dark grey carpeting over the plastic would also look nice. If you have any questions on suggested brands of wiring, power capacitors, amps, subs, etc, feel free to ask.(I thought of doing something with tires, but it was for a home theatre system. I thought of having the sub for a surround sound home theatre set inside of a low profile tire, maybe fitting an 18" RF sub inside one of my 215/35/18 once I replace them
