Re: (goodvibe)

Responding to a 1 year old thread I know but- I wanted to add somethingI traded my vibe in to get an automatic car (wife hated standard ) and I have learned that the dealership actually replaced the entire clutch assembly in the car, or so I was told they had. Part of the reason was apprently becaus...

Re: Transmission noise (whine) above 4k rpm (NoopyKat)

This is actually weird, I am having the EXACT to the tee issues you are. The whine (I notice it in lift) and the gears not engaging randomly. The dealer could never figure out what is wrong with it, and my issue was never addressed. If you do find some awnsers let me now.

Re: Vibe GTR with V6.... (ALi3N)

I believe the 2 litre Supercharged Ecotec would be the perfect mate to the vibe. Not only would it be a mid 14 to low 15 second car, it would still turn over decent gas mileage, remain under 3000 pounds and have the great looks and versatility that we have now. But give me the 6 speed from the corve...

The SRT does not use any component from the base Neon engine. The base Neon engine uses a completly different 2.0 litre engine. Well the Dodge SRT-4 is defenitly NOT a Neon. It shares the same platform as the Neon yes, but comparing the Neon to the SRT is like comparing the Lancer to a Lancer Evo. The SRT uses a 2.4 litre 4 banger that has not been seen in any Neon. The engine has been beefed up from the factory to stand up ...
