Several Mod Questions

I've finally gotten home from college, which means I have finally gotten to start modding my car. So far, I have tinted the tail lights, as well as debadged the car. I also ordered a decal for the front arrow head, and a decal for the Pontiac inlay on the hatch. Now. here are my questions pertaining...

Urban 2006 Vibe: Salsa, Base

As some of you may know, I recently purchased a 2006 Pontiac Vibe. It is the base model, and is Salsa colored. It has the monsoon sound system as well as the moon and tunes sound system, which I believe is the only additional feature of this car. It will be living in the city of Philadelphia for the...

Re: Stock Wheels (vibolista)

It's a 100% stock, all salsa vibe (no gray cladding).

Tinted Tails on a Salsa Vibe?

Has anyone tinted the tails on their salsa Vibe, or have pictures of ones with tinted tails? I'm curious to see what that would look like. How hard is that VHT Nightshade stuff to work with? Is it as simple as removing the tail lights, cleaning them off with some alcohol, then doing a few coats until...

Stock Wheels

I personally love the look of the stock wheels, but I wish they were black to match my salsa vibe. Is there a way to paint them so they are black chrome, possibly with a matching red lip? Would this be considered a do-it-yourself type of project, or could I take it somewhere? Also, where could I get...

Re: (CAMOGIRL)

Well, this will probably be turning into a summer project, because I can't really work too much on my car while it's parked on the side of the street in Philadelphia. However, when I do get around to this, there is a 95% chance of me getting rid of that stock sub, enclosure and all.My plan as of now...

Re: Aftermarket System (bigdaddyjosh)

So I can hook that thing up to the factory stereo, then connect it to my after-market amp? It's four channel, so then I could use the stock 200w amp to just push the front speakers, and my 1000w amp to push the 3 subs I have?If I got an after-market head unit, would I still need that?

Aftermarket System

Okay, I have a 2006 Vibe, with the 6-Disk CD Changer and the stock 10" sub. Could someone tell me how to install an aftermarket head unit? I know how to in a normal car, but I'm assuming it'd more complicated because of the stock sub. I can get my hands on a Kenwood head unit, a 1000w amp, and ...

Oh yeah? If I may ask, what do you have done to yours? I plan on getting a system and some tint, but otherwise I am unsure. I like the stock rims, the body kits for this car are ugly, spoilers don't look right on it, and putting neons on a crossover would probably be considered ricey. Oh, and I can'...

Yeah, I just checked the blue book value, which put it at about $12,500. The sticker price for the car was $11,500, but the dealer is hooking me up because he knows my parents cars are starting to get old.

Getting My New Vibe Tomorrow

Well, I went down to the dealership yesterday to look at cars. I know the dealer there. Both my parents bought their cars there, and I used to cook at a restaurant where he ate every night. I know I can trust this guy, because he wouldn't want to loose my parents business.Anyway, after looking aroun...
