Re: (dsegundo)

??Canadian side??Congrats. It's a long drive up there- invest some money in a good set of winter tires. I visited a friend up there one time who told me before I came up that there was 5 ft of snow on the ground. I thought he was kidding. He wasn't kidding.

I see other Vibes alot, but few AWD Vibes. This car is like a little billygoat. I'm not afraid to go anywhere with it in the winter.

Re: Proud New AWD owner (drunkenvibe)

It's the air intake tube that comes out of the front of the airbox, snakes around to the right of the battery and ends up behind the headlight. I don't know about other years, but the '04s have it. If you look at the right side of the picture, the tube necks down to a puny 2 inches and chokes the ai...

Re: Proud New AWD owner (mike051972)

Congrats, and welcome! You will love the AWD in the snow - its a blast! For the best bang for the buck, you should first remove the air silencer. It's a free mod and it is a restriction on the air intake. It will help your engine breath a little easier until you decide what CAI to get. Attached files

Re: Pop up Ads (Big_Red)

Go to a site like http://cnet.com and do a search for popup stoppers. They have some free ones to download that will stop about 90% of popup ads. If you are getting popups as soon as you open IE, you may want to try a program like spyware or spybot to see if you have a virus on your computer.

Ah yes, but there is a reverse psychology to having a car that chicks like. I wish I had a dollar for every time I've had a woman say:"I love your car!". It's a great ice breaker.
