Re: Cracking Window Problem Information (BaseViber03)

Thanks Base, glad they finally got it fixed for you, but did they mention how they fixed. Either way, I'll figure something out to this weekend, right now I'm over 400 miles away from my car.

On second thought Ponyota, I took the one off of the passenger side, and put it on the drivers side and it still did the same thing, so there must still be a problem. I'll probably still try bending it this weekend if no one can come up with a better solution.

Thanks, Ponyota I did some grinding on it, I'll try to get the rest of clearance I need from bending it. Vibe_dude, yes the bar scrapes against the glass when you raise and lower the window, in my case, I can really tell, because it screwed up my window tinting.

Like the Thunder Bird, this is a good example of how retro styled cars don't stay desirable for long. Hopefully auto manufactures will get the message, and come up with some fresh ideas, instead of rehashing designs form 40 years ago.

The Manual costs more on the Corvette too. I think it's because the auto is just an off the shelf GM transmission, but the Manual (Tremec T56) is bought from an outside company, so there is probably more cost involved.
